When choosing a location fitting for a season finale, its hard to rival Mont-Sainte-Anne. The Canadian venue is arguably the most famous in UCI World Cup history and has hosted mountain biking royalty since 1991. In that time, it has also held three UCI World Championships – 1998, 2010 and 2019 – and witnessed some of the most iconic moments in the sports history. If that wasnt enough, the 2025 edition between October 9-12 is even more poignant – the bike park celebrating its 30th UCI World Cup.

Where is it?

Mont-Sainte-Anne bike park is a Mecca for mountain biking and is home to 28km of downhill trails, 130km of cross-country, and can cater to all levels of experience – from first timers to freerides. The resort is located in the town of Beaupré, 40km northeast of downtown Quebec City.

What are the courses like?

For the Endurance contingent, Mont-Sainte-Annes course can be described in one word – technical. Rock gardens, roots and ruts have to be tamed on every lap, while wet weather can turn the terrain into an ice rink. The Downhill track meanwhile is as brutal as it is brilliant, pitting riders against tree-flanked boulder fields, loamy berms and a fast, open finish area that is always filled with fans.

Who were the most recent winners?

Victor Koretzky (Specialized Factory Racing) and Sina Frei (Specialized Factory Racing) confirmed their fine form in North America by both clinching back-to-back Short Track wins, but the Specialized spell was broken with Alan Hatherly (Cannondale Factory Racing) and Loana Lecomte (Canyon CLLCTV XCO) finishing their Olympic distance seasons in style.

With Loïc Bruni (Specialized Gravity) and Vali Höll (YT Mob) already wrapping up their titles, it was time for some other riders to shine in the Downhill – Troy Brosnan (Canyon CLLCTV) and Marine Cabirou (Scott Downhill) cementing their second places in the overall series.
