She had just become the French National MTB UCI Champion and was feeling really good, so she decided to enter the French National Road Race Championships. She hadn’t done any road races that year and didn’t even have a road bike. At the time, she was focused on cyclocross, so her dad converted one of her cyclocross bikes into a road bike for her to race. Everyone was staring at her bike before the start, but she thought it was super cool. Off the bike, Olivia is very curious. She likes a lot of things, especially sports—she loves skiing and running—but what she likes best besides cycling is teasing her brothers. Olivia’s future goal is to win an Olympic medal. Her favourite place to ride is in the Alps, in the Queyras, which she loves for its sense of being cut off from the world, its magnificent landscapes, and its very often beautiful weather.
