Myriam grew up in the south of France, where dusty trails and the volcanic terrain around Lake Salagou became her first playground.
Riding alongside her older brothers, she discovered competition early—following them to her first races and unknowingly laying the foundations of an extraordinary career. Nearly two decades later, Myriam remains one of the defining figures in women’s downhill mountain biking. Her racing is built on precision, commitment, and mental strength—qualities that have carried her to the very top of the sport. Across 19 years at the elite level, she has claimed two UCI Downhill World Championship titles, six World Vice Champion finishes—often decided by margins of less than a second—one UCI World Cup overall title, ten UCI World Cup victories, and more than 60 UCI World Cup podiums. A cornerstone of the COMMENCAL MUC-OFF by Riding Addiction team, 2026 will mark her 16th season with the program and on COMMENCAL bikes. Beyond competition, Myriam values the simple moments: cooking, good coffee, and time with family and friends—elements that continue to ground a career defined by passion, resilience, and longevity.
