Her racing career began largely through NICA and his junior development team in Boulder. Through these programs, she discovered his passion for racing and began to dream big in the cycling world. Madigan is deeply grateful for the community that cycling has introduced her to, and she hopes to continue being a positive and supportive mentor to the next generation of cyclists as he pursues her own goals. Madigan attended Colorado Mesa University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology. After her cycling career, she would love to return to school and eventually work in the medical field. In addition to racing, she works with NICA and The Cyclist Alliance as a mentor and athlete representative, respectively. Outside of riding, she enjoys hiking, baking sourdough, drinking coffee, and spending time with her family and dog.
