As a Junior and U23 rider, Julian won multiple medals at the UCI World Championships, including a silver medal in the U23 category in 2013, before pausing his career in 2016.
He later returned to racing and claimed the 2018 National Cross‑country Marathon Championship title. In 2024, he secured two medals at the UEC European Championships—silver in short track and bronze in Olympic cross‑country. In 2025, his strongest results included 6th place in the UCI XCO race in Val di Sole, Italy, and 8th place in the UCI XCC in Les Gets, France. He also won the silver medal at the UCI National Championships in XCO. When he’s not on the bike, Julian can be found XC, backcountry, or alpine skiing in winter, and running or kitesurfing in the summer. His number‑one goal for 2026 is the UCI World Championships in Val di Sole, Italy—the venue of his best result in 2025. Julian’s message for 2026: ‘Have better starts!’
